Latest Format Of Career Episodes Report

There are three career episodes in the competency demonstration report. A career episode report is a document that presents the aspirant's background concerning engineering educations and work experiences. Each of the career episodes is focused on distinct engineering activities. They should disclose how the aspirants have applied engineering skills and knowledge in their past work experiences. The career episode includes the following components:

  • An engineering assignment help project was undertaken as a part of an education degree.
  • A project in which the aspirants has worked or currently working.
  • Description of a position occupied in previous organizations.
  • A technical issue that the aspirants have solved.

  • Aspirants resume, or CV must be a complete synopsis of work experience and educational background. It should not contain the lists of projects on which the aspirants have worked, but it must have a sequential list of employment details. It should not exceed three pages and must be presented in A4 pages. For every workplace listed on the CV, the aspirants must mention the duration and date of employment, name and location of the company, a short description of previous responsibilities and job title.
  • The next important thing is the preparation of Career Professional Development (CPD) in a listing format. It shouldn't exceed one A4 size page. The length should be between 1000 to 2500 words for each episode. It must be written in the first person, explaining what the aspirant has done in his previous employment and how he/she utilizes engineering knowledge and technical skills to solve the problem.
  • Each paragraph of the report must be numbered to easily be referred to in the summary statement. The numbering technique that must be followed are presented below:
  • Career episode 1 (paragraphs / section 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on)
  • Career episode 2 (paragraphs / section 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on)
  • Career episode 3 (paragraphs / section 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on)

Writing A CPD Report

It must be written in a listing format, and the length should not be more than one A4 sheet page in length. The listing should present the detail such as:

  • Journals, manuals or books students to increase the area of expertise or to acquire more knowledge.
  • Any seminars, meetings, discussions, workshops, technical inspections and short-term courses attended.
  • Any conference attended.
  • Details regarding postgraduation.
  • Any volunteering work related to the engineering field in which the aspirant has participated.

Writing A Career Episodes

In each of the career episodes, the candidate should provide four sections presented below:

  • Introduction section: this must be of around 100 words. This must cover the duration and date of the project, name of organization, location and candidate position at the workplace.
  • Background section: It should consume 200-500 words. Here, the aspirants should describe the framework of the project.
  • Personal Engineering Activity: In this section, the aspirants should give a detailed description of how he/she applied the technical knowledge at the workplace. The word limit for this part is around 1000 words.
  • Lastly, the aspirants must highlight all the engineering related talents and competencies demonstrated in the career episode.

Writing CDR Summary Statement

This Statement, as the name suggests, is the summary of all three CDR career episodes. The summary statement must provide cross-references of every paragraph utilized in the summary statement from three career episodes. In addition, it should be noted that the aspirant must not submit any extra comment on the summary statement. It must adhere and be limited to the information provided above in three career episodes.
